Review | Soap & Glory 'Sugar Crush' Body Wash

Friday 19 July 2013

Hi Girls, it's Friday again, yay! Where are the weeks going this year? If you've read through my blog before, you'll know how much of a fan I am of Soap & Glory. I own a few things by them that I absolutely love and I've really been wanting to try out one of their body washes for ages.
I'm not really much of a bath fan, I find showers much more refreshing and quick in the morning and besides, I don't even have a bath in my house!

When I popped into Boots a couple of weeks ago to pick up some baby essentials, I thought I'd take a quick peek down the bathing aisle and treat myself to something with my Advantage Card points. I made a beeline for the S&G stand and then it was just a matter of picking one of them!
I gave them all a sniff and eventually settled on Sugar Crush although I'll definitely be trying out the others in the future.

I love the packaging of all S&G products and this one is no exception (literally all my shower items are pink and they're all by different brands, does anyone else have this?) I especially like the fact that this comes with a pump as it means you can control exactly how you're using instead of it squirting out left, right and centre.

This smells d-i-v-i-n-e. Think lemon/lime cheesecake and that's pretty much a spot on description of how this smells, it gives me major cheesecake cravings, haha!
I use three pumps and it lathers up wonderfully leaving creamy bubbles all over your skin and the lovely scent. Despite it being pretty pricey for a shower gel at £6.50, the bottle is pretty huge and I can't even tell that I've used it despite using it every day for over two weeks.

I'm really eager to buy the Sugar Crush Body Cream as it smells just as good and will hopefully keep me smelling amazing all day as the one minor gripe with the Body Wash is that although it smells great in the shower, it pretty much fades away quickly after you step out of it.

What are your favourite S&G products?

  5. I LOVE this body wash! My all time fave of a morning, I think it smells like lime yogurt. I'm just a sucker for anything citrus smelled anyway:) My favourite S&G product would have to be the body creme that goes with this.
