Wish it, Want it, Buy it?

Wednesday, 22 January 2014

I haven't posted a wishlist in what seems like forever. I've been trying to avoid temptation due to being horrifyingly poor this January but I just simply can't help but build a list up in my head. These little picks are on the pricier side as well, so I'd best just keep on wishing because it ain't gonna be happening anytime soon.

After getting the Origins Mask Marvels for Christmas, I've been beadily eyeing up Origins other offerings and I have a growing list of products I want to try by them. I'm never really happy with my moisturisers and always on the look out for a new one and this one has got so many rave reviews, I really want to give it a go.

After spotting this on the lovely Lauren and Claire's blog Stylingo, I was really intrigued by it. I've been loyal to Bourjois Healthy Mix for 2 years now using nothing else and I fancy experimenting with some different brands. I'm wanting something with a little more coverage now as my skin is just not behaving at the moment and I love my current Bobbi Brown products, seems worth a trip to the counter for a colour match!

I've been on the lookout for a primer product for quite a while now, one that works well but isn't too eye wateringly expensive. At £16, City Block Sheer is appealing to me and I've been a fan of most Clinique products I've tried, not to mention it has the added bonus of SPF.

I saw this pop up on my Twitter feed and Gemma from Miss Makeup Magpie was recommending it. I checked it out and it sounds perfect for spot cleaning whilst applying eye shadow. I often find myself with a blending brush with a multitude of colours on just from trying to create one eye look, this would be great for a quick clean before applying another shade with no drying time!

I love trying out new products to try and tame my frizzy hair and this has been recommended everywhere. I needn't say more.

I haven't tried any setting sprays before and this one caught my eye. I saw a tutorial where it was used to give more pigmentation to and eyeshadow and thought it was a great idea. Plus, I've loved every single MAC product I have tried and you can't have a wishlist without a bit of MAC.

What's on your wishlist at the moment? Have you tried any of these?
Also, can anyone guess what my post name is in reference to? Let me know in the comments!

  2. Oh my gosh. I feel like you and I are on the same page. I have wanted the Clinique city block for some time too. I like the idea of picking up a block rather then a screen. I feel a sun block would do more to protect the skin. And £16 is cheap. Gosh. Your making me want to buy it even more now. Haha!

  8. I think Fix + is worth buying if you like a good multi use product. I especially like it for wetting my eyeshadow brush to make my eyeshadows really pop :)

  10. I ordered the Mask Marvels but Origins sent my other items and just didn't bother telling me Mask Marvels was out of stock. They charged me for it though, how rude haha. I was so annoyed I didn't get it, it was such a bargain!!
I have the GinZing eye cream and I love it, I love how it has tiny shimmer in to really brighten up your eyes and make you look more awake! Would love to try the moisturiser too.
