Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Review

Tuesday, 13 January 2015

I got myself my first bottle of Liz Earle's Instant Boost Skin Tonic when my skin was going through a particularly bad breakout. I'd been using my Cleanse & Polish but thought that pairing it with this might make them work even better.

Long story short, I dropped Cleanse & Polish from my routine but kept using the Skin Tonic and I'm now on my second bottle within 3 months. I LOVE this stuff. I use it every morning and night after washing my face/removing my makeup to get anything missed first time around.

After using it, my skin doesn't feel dry or tight like it can do after using a toner. It also doesn't make it feel oily or greasy, I'm just left with clean and smooth feeling skin.
At first I wasn't sure if it was making any difference to my skin but after having kept up the same routine for the past couple of months, I've noticed major improvements and I don't want to change anything.

I like the fact that you can pick a bottle up with the twisting cap like I have or as a spritzer, I might pick up a spritzer come the warmer months just to keep my skin feeling refreshed throughout the day.

I picked mine up from John Lewis for £13.25 but it seems to have had a little price hike up to £14.50 over Christmas. It is quite pricey for a toner but it really has become an essential part of my routine and I think I will repurchase it again unless I can find something else that wows me just as much.

  4. I might have to try this. I've been meaning to try some of the Liz Earle products for a while and this one sounds good. I like the fact you can get this is a spritzer bottle too, as like you say that one will be great for summer, nice and refreshing.
